Episode #1: Liam Neeson is The Dickslinger

The inaugural episode of Script-Promptu.  Chad, Paul and Sam discuss movies they’ve seen, go over the rules for the show, and then improv their first script.  In their first set of prompts Chad draws Pornography, and hilarity ensues.

Episode #2: Straight Forward

Chad, Paul and Sam are back with a brand new script idea.  Martin Short returns in Straight Forward the best science fiction epic since Innerspace.

Episode #3: Toretto

Chad, Paul and Sam brainstorm a new film concept. “Toretto” is a crime drama/character study with unexpected ties to a certain “quick” and “angry” film franchise.   

Episode #4: Lovelock

On this episode of Script-Promptu Chad, Paul, and Sam talk about little women, brainstorm a movie concept, and triple-handedly resurrect Eric Stoltz’s career. “Lovelock” is a family drama about three siblings struggling with the aftermath from one of the most horrible tragedies in American history.

Episode #5: Birds Aren’t Real

Episode #5! On this episode of Script-Promptu we develop a script concept for an espionage, action, comedy, science fiction, straight-to-VHS masterpiece.

Episode #6: Queens over kings

Paul’s turn again on Script-Promptu.  This time we brainstorm a script concept for a political, mystery, buddy film with a cast that transcends time and space.

Episode #7: McGruff

In Sam’s absence, Paul and Chad are joined by a long time friend to bring you what is definitely our longest and probably our most hilarious episode to date. Together, we develop an exciting, action packed, neo-noir thriller that is very loosely adapted from the hit series of McGruff the Crime Dog coloring booklets. This summer crime bites back.

Episode #8: Calling of the stone

Episode #8 of Script-Promptu. The ginger, small man, and swarthy bearded fellow are back! “Calling of the Stone” is a psychological thriller/horror film concept that centers around the mysterious happenings in a remote town in the Appalachian Mountains.

Episode #9: What is Love?

Chad, Sam and Paul take a deep dive into the romance genre in the sci-fi romantic drama entitled “What is Love?”. In the near future, a planetary surveyor on a 5 year mission on Mars discovers what it really means to love somebody.

Episode #10: Syrup & Blood

Syrup and Blood are no longer just a delicious condiment combination. Hold on to the edge of your seats in this action-packed comedic eye-orgy. A fast-food employee and a Cowboy-Detective team up to take down the Maple Syrup Mafia once and for all.

Episode #11: Retirement Home

The guys are joined by screenwriter, novelist, and all-around cool guy Jamie Nash to brainstorm our next Script-Promptu. “Retirement Home” is a political-mystery-thriller mixed with some hardcore action, comedy and old people. This is where the nation’s most safe guarded secrets go to die.

Episode #12: SQUIRREL DAZE

Chad, Paul and Sam are joined by Tristan Miller to bring you the story of a squirrel and the woman who gives it life. “Squirrel Daze” is comedy-drama film that follows a grieving actress in her struggle to heal.

Episode #13: Vampire King

There have been hundreds of murders THROUGHOUT THE MIDWEST. THE SIMILARITIES IN THE CRIMES ALL POINT TO THE SAME killer, but who could it be? The FBI is looking for answers, and everyone has someone else to blame. Join Script-Promptu in this limited true crime mocku-series. “Vampire king: Blood, Slayers, and Prayers”.

Episode #14: The Center of Everything

In the distant future the Earth is beyond repair. Scientists race to find a solution before humanity’s future is lost. This episode of Script-Promptu is a pitch for a time travel, science fiction epic titled “The Center of Everything”. 

Episode #15: His Freedom Club

Imagine a world where Ted Kaczynski was never captured. The Unabomber stopped terrorizing the country, and a political activist group was born called “The Freedom Club”. “His Freedom Club” is a television series concept with an alternate take on our national history. 

Episode #16: Extra Innings

Rafe Telsch from the Have Not Seen This Podcast joins the show and we develop a sitcom pitch about a baseball game that will never end. “Extra Innings” is a hilarious, surreal look into baseball that will have you asking “When will this game end?” 

Episode #17: Between the Rides

“Between the Rides” is a family drama focused on a trip to an amusement park and the growing tension between two brothers.  In this episode we have friend of the show Mikey as a guest.

Episode #18: Conventional Heroes

After a devastating earthquake at the San Diego Comicon a group of amnesic costumed nerds embark on a hilarious quest of confused identities, missing super powers, and murderous robots. Scottye Moore from the BS Network joins the guys for another laugh-out-loud episode of Script-Promptu.

Episode #24: The Restaurateur

Script-Promptu goes back to college to talk about student films, projects we did while we were in school, and pitch a heist film inspired by the Akira Kurosawa classic, Rashomon. In an attempt to expose corrupt government officials, crooked cops, and organized crime, three friends plan a complex heist and finally take down the Restaurateur.
